This was purchased at auction on BaT 01/19 At 181k miles. Unfortunately, the motor threw a rod thru the block within 150 miles and I subsequently had a replacement M44 with 91k miles installed in Raleigh NC at a specialty show.
Runs and drives amazingly well
I have replaced many, many things to satisfy my OCD issues.
Sachs struts/top mounts (I have not tackled all the small bushings as of yet)
New CA compliant Cat, reg good thru October 2021
Stereo/all speakers except door tweets/mids. They were all toast, so I was compelled. Never had the original deck, so went single din newer
Left window motot/reg
On and on. I have receipts for all
It has the E36 M3 staggered wheels and older tires, but these grip fantastically still so didnt change.
If youare serious only, please ask for details. The motor swap was over 6000, so if I cant get this I will just keep holding.
The original listing on BaT is still viewable. Still has that road rash on frontbumper/leading edge hood from sand or whatever the hell the owner drove thru years back. No rust noted and Ive been all around this thing. Interesting provenance/story
Doing another oil change soon but havent been driving much this year.

For your sake, I hope they refreshed the motor they placed in and did a lot of "while we're in there" maintenance.

Hah, well I guess this nice gentleman in Arizona and I are now twins. I've also got an Alaskablau, slicktop M-sport though it has seen a lot more Ohio winters than this one has!
