eurohb 04-28-2010 06:49 AM

I agree with your dad. (except for the "idiot" part as I'm in no position to judge for myself, LOL) At least he cares enough to give you advice, it could be worse.

THAT318 04-29-2010 05:33 AM

he only said im an idiot as i might be getting my license suspended and want to still get the exhaust/drop/rims.

lysergicsurfer 04-29-2010 06:15 AM

Are you lowered at all right now? Car looks good, I like seeing these cars unique with out being over the top, and cheap looking.

What are you going to be doing to the rear bumper? For me buying the Mtech rear bumper is out of the question so I was thinking about doing something custom. I know someone modified the bottom part of a reiger coupe bumper to the top part of a ti bumper so that it would bolt on a fit perfectly yet have the rieger look. I have no idea what it looked like since he never posted pictures, but I was thinking about the non-m e36 diffusers which just get mounted on the outside of the regular e36 rear bumper. Perhaps you can cut out the a hole in the rear bumper, and somehow mount it to work, then fiberglass the cracks and voids.... If I can ever pick up an extra rear bumper cover I will be messing around with this.. Let me know what you had in mind? I am still thinking of other ways to do something different.

THAT318 04-29-2010 06:38 AM

i have thought about cutting up a stock cover but then remembered im not good at custom body work... :)

eurohb 04-29-2010 06:45 AM

neither am I lol

THAT318 04-29-2010 06:52 AM

ok well once you do it give me a step by step... as if your holding my hand showing me how to do it, and maybe i can try? lol i can do or learn anything mechanically but when it comes to body work im useless!

eurohb 04-29-2010 07:35 AM

ahah for sure i learned from youtube :D

Junk 04-29-2010 03:01 PM

nice shots of your car, you work at a hotel or something?

lysergic: I saw a picture of a stock bumper, just had the bottom cut out a little bit. Chittum's race car, here's some pictures..

eurohb 04-29-2010 08:59 PM

Mr. Crow 05-01-2010 05:51 AM

What up Bryan, your car is looking really good bro!

Hey I was wondering? Who sprayed your front end? I need some parts painted.

eurohb 05-01-2010 05:56 AM

hey thanks dude! and yeah my car has come a long way glad i decided to keep it instead of letting these hard times get to us all. My front end i actually sprayed it :D but if u want some pieces done professionally a really good friend of mine owns a body shop in Pomona,ca and does magic PM me and we can talk or do you have my number from before?

lysergicsurfer 05-01-2010 06:21 AM

Cooljess, I think that looks best, since it is so easy and cheap. However my ti is black, so I dont think there is anything I can paint on that would make it look good. I think just cutting the middle out is a little weird, it would show everything underneath too much also. Maybe if you are into the race look you could put in some small vertical diffuser fins or something. Even just doing a dual or quad exhaust like bluebimmer would be cool. Having a mcoupe/roadster exhaust would be enough eye candy, the ugliest bumper would be unnoticeable.

very good point. i was thinking about making a mock up of using a stock diffuser off my buddy's 325is and seeing how i can make it fit on the Ti rear bumper, from there use a m3 one a viola we got a budget bumper :D

Philly 05-01-2010 07:38 AM

normally im not a fan of "odd" colored wheels but your car pulls it off nicely!
GJ!

as for the discussion on the rear bumper, leave it be or wait til a cheap mtech one pops up... not a fan of the mockpaint diffuser myself.
Would be interesting to see how a 2dr/4dr diffuser would fit with our bumper though!

hey thanks and yea just trying to be a little different :D and the fitment shouldn't be that hard if i got time i can make it up but being in school sucks hah college blows

roadrash 05-01-2010 07:42 PM

If you think college blows, just wait until you get dumped out into the real world. heh heh

eurohb 05-01-2010 07:56 PM

ahah i know but college is boring going to switch majors for the 3rd time :D

mmosquera89 05-01-2010 08:13 PM

The rims don't look that bad. You should paint the car the same color as the rims.
College students can't make up their minds nowadays. I switched majors for the 2nd time too, so I should know like most students do. What major are you switching to for the 3rd time? I switched from graphic design to computer networking.
