I bought the 8mm bavauto ignition wires a few months ago. I like them, hopefully you will like the 8.5mm wires. DO they come with a new harness? They won't fit the stock harness. Mine don't fit the stock harness and they are 8mm.

i've got to do mine before too long. i'm going to replace a number of parts around there so i think i'm going to pull the whole battery box out when i do it. be nice to just be able to relocate the battery to the hatch at that time, but i won't have everything planned out for that yet.

What are the benifits of moving to 8.5mm wires ?

Cool factor with a tiny tiny HP diff, almost too small to measure.. Even magnecore doesn't reccomend thier wires for stock ignition. The stock wires are quite good really as long as they are replaced when they go brittle... Their web page has a good writeup....

until you see the cost of the stock wires. once you wake back up and get off the floor, you order the magnees ;)
