Auto Transmission stuck in 2nd gear after DME swap
 

So I recently had my DME swapped out and reprogrammed after some water damage. Now it seems whenever I put it in gear its stuck in 2nd and won't rev over about 2k-2.5k. I can throw it in park and neutral and it revs up fine and using the manual shifting I can hear the trans shift, but keeping it in automatic mode makes the trans stuck in 2nd gear and it won't ever shift.

Also I can't get the traction control light to turn off, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the transmission problem though.

sound more like you installed the wrong trans computer. It is in limp mode

Did you replace/program DME or TCU? If DME, shouldn't effect trans, but you may have issues with your TCU too and didn't notice it until the DME was replaced.

Is that something that can be reprogrammed? Also if I end up having to buy a new trans computer do I have to have it reprogrammed?
