I just bought a 98' Alpine 318ti with Sunroof and M-Sport package. It has 175k on it, but it's in excellent condition. The first thig I did was replace all of the vacuum hoses, intake boot, gaskets, leaky seals, plugs, and the timing chain cover. The cover had a giant hole in it. I thought it was a vacuum leak which is why I replaced the hoses and intake boot which had a crack in it. Did a smoke test and found smoke coming from the crank seal gasket. Took off the pulley and found a dime sized hole. car runs like a champ now and I'm averaging 29mpg!

Very very clean looking! Seeing the work you've done, I can tell that car has landed with a good owner. I hope you have lots of fun and good times to come!

Keep an eye out for the Hellrot Sport with peeling clearcoat driving around the Santa Rosa area

Thanks, Coyote! I'll look out for you. Let me know if there are any meetups or shows in the Sonoma area, and I'll come through.

I'm also in the Santa Rosa area.

We usually have our meetups in Vallejo, and there will definitely be one soon!
