cluster seperation

I am doing some custom work to my cluster. has anyone ever separated the plastic "window" from the cluster body. I would love some insight into this before I break it.
Thanks

Guess you figured it out. :)

I've only removed the cluster, not the frame around it.

Looks good.

I added chrome rings to my 96.

Don't forget to replace the bulbs behind the fog and headlight switches.
Might as well do it now while the cluster is out.

Last week I removed the cluster from a 95 sedan, i had to remove the steering wheel and air bag to get it out. To replace a burnt bulb on my ti cluster, does it have to come out the same way?

You can get the cluster out without removing the steering wheel.
I remove the trim surrounding the steering column. It's also a PITA that way.

I cracked one of my clusters forcing it in.
I now remove the steering wheel.

I just dropped the steering column down to get it out

Adjustable steering wheel?
That's rare.
