Runs well and is my daily driver. Very reliable, never overheated.
Selling the car because I am moving to a hateful emissions state. Off to WA state in a few months! Pics of CA plates, LA plates are REAVERS too ;)
I have owned the car since Jan 2012. Bought it with 189K miles on it from a guy who had maintained it well. Serviced regularly in my care. No Rust. The car is raised 1.5” rally style with HD Bilstein suspension on 15-inch wheels with undersized tires for increased travel. NOTE: Undersized tires make the speedometer read 7% over. I’m a speed demon, so this works well in my favor  The bad is the odometer reads a bit higher than the actual mileage, but this only applies to the last 15K miles or so.

Good:
Repairs / Maintenance within the last 10K miles:
• Midnight Tuning stage 1 tuning chip – redline delete, rated 10hp boost but I never Dyno’d 
o *Requires premium gas with this chip but still manages ~30mpg when romping on it, ~ 35 driving like grandma
• Valve Cover gasket
• Interior air filters
• Fogged Airbox – Forum DIY Mod (still have original parts if you want to put back to stock)
• HD Bilstein springs, shocks/struts, control arms
• Poly bushings
• Replaced all vacuum hoses and intake boot
• Belts
• Plugs and wires
• Tires
• Battery
• Temp Sensor
• Brake pads and rotors
• Some interior plastics – Radio/climate control cluster housing/cig lighter & tray, RAZO shift knob
• Window regulators/slides and motors
• Hatch struts
• Driver side door
• M-Tech side molding
• All weather floor mats
• Remote entry – ignition key does not open driver’s door.

Within the last month:
• New Brake tags – good till Oct 2016
• Registration good till Aug 2016
• New rear speakers – 10 speaker system including tweeters! WUT
• Front Windshield & wipers
• Replaced all fuses
• K&N Filter – Not sure how I feel about it, might want to go back to the good old FRAM
• plugs & oil
• O2 sensor
• Coolant temp sensor
• Interior mods including front door panels – not drilled! They have the clips! I have the rear panels as well, just never installed them.
• Removed the sagging headliner, but is now badass white
• AC Blows cold

Parts etc.:
• Original factory manual; DIY Repair book, extra speaker, mostly complete factory BMW trunk repair kit, DIY Service reset tool, additional set of interior rear panels in Dove Grey,– misc interior clips, spare regulator slides, bulbs…stuff

Not so Good:
• Dent below driver door/rocker panel – bought it that way so I replaced the door… it was ugly  - ignition key does not work on driver’s door.
• A few misc. dents – Paint is in fair condition – good side paint. The hood could do with a bit of love but not horrible
• Some missing undercarriage plastics
• Removed catalytic converter/straight piped to muffler – it’s a Cali model, but a 50 state cat should run ~100/200 installed – IMO it’s not very loud if that matters to you
• Heater sucks – This is due to air in the lines and possible new temp sensor needed – happened when I changed out the coolant temp sensor. Bleed the lines and it should be good to go ($35 at a shop). Doubt it needs a temp sensor as it was recently replaced, but would run ~$80 for the sensor and maybe another $50 for install if you’re not a DYI type - Still comes up to temp normally. I might fix it if I get around to it
• Sunroof works but sometimes you have jiggle a wire to wake it up. – Sunroof control panel cover missing (removed to access wires then lost it)
• Tear in upper side front driver seat due to sun exposure (M-tech sport seats)- artistically mended with red stitching in some places (holding up well, too)
• Airbag Light goes on intermittently
• Gas gauge is a liar some of the time – I fill up by watching the odometer/reset tripometer every fill up.
• I'm a smoker with furry dogs if you care

It's solid, reliable, smooth at idle, and fun as hell to drive but a bit of a beater aesthetically – The guts were what really mattered to me  This would be a perfect candidate for the S52 motor swap with DASC. And while you’re at it, pick up a used LSD and you’ll have the monster I dream about! What started my project… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdgOaRiCEdk
