Improve the oversteer chararteristics

Are there any components that help to combat the oversteer and shift of the rear ends around corners?

It seems like my car (granted it has a heavier 6 cylinder engine) the rear end follows and sometimes leans over whilst following the front end in a turn, feeling somewhat unsafe.

Should I have to avoid something or snap quickly with a turn it feels like it could skid out easily.

I have all new suspension/steering components and a square wheel setup.

Would a stiffer front spring help or stiffer rear shocks?

I have lowered the pressure in my front tires to 35 and left the rear at 40psi.

Thanks

Visit strong-strut.com and look at the rear brace for the z3 and e30, which have the same rear suspension as the ti. This is a brace that fits under the car and tightens the suspension....easy bolt on installation. I got it when other track drivers told me that my rear suspension looked loose through tight corners...makes a noticable difference.

Interesting.

Very expensive.

You'd want more pressure in the front than the rear more than likely, but definitely go with a wider tire in the back. With some fender rolling you can easily fit a 265 andaybe even a 275. Also make sure camber and toe are within spec - weld in adjustment plates if needed.

Found out that mine has camber and toe plates welded on. Driver side missing ECS rric bolts, going to install them this week and set it up better.

Ended up installing Eccentric Bolts in the rear drivers side to adjust the toe and Camber which were both way off.

Luckily someone else had installed the adjustment plates prior but did not put eccentric bolts in place, just standard bolts.

This and replacing my failing rear bushing made a substantial difference.

Car already had upgraded subframe bushings.

Sweet! I have no idea why someone would put non-eccentric bolts into elongated holes - what a bad move!
