Steering wheel jerks to the right when braking

I have not done any maintenance on my 1996 TI lately. I just drive it daily since it has been running very well.
Last maintenance I did was installing a new radiator due to a leaky reservoir this past January.

Anyway, when going 35mph and above and then I apply the brakes, the steering wheel jerks a little to the right.
Anybody knows what can cause this steering wheel jerk when braking?
Thanks.

Jacked up the front today and remove the front wheels to check rotors, wheel bearings and suspension.
Wheel bearings were tight.
Dial indicated rotors and checked out straight not warped.
Ball joints were good and tight.

It appears that the passenger side rear suspension bushing is off-centered but not entirely sure if bushings were separated. Driver side looks solid.
I am taking a break and will check it later.

Well, the passenger side rear control arm bushing is shot.
I took it out and the center sleeve is stuck in the control arm.
I took a dremel and cut the remaining rubber.

The car will be out of commission until I get the new set of bushings from rock auto on Saturday.

Got the new rear bushings installed.
What a big difference in handling.
Car is now more stable and steering wheel has never been very steady even when braking hard.
Good for another 100k miles.
