UPDATE: Temporary reprieve. Friend of friend is interested to buy as graduation gift. Gonna finish it off and sell at great price. Thanks to those who inquired.

Well here's the story. I've been fixing this car for over a year now and finally was able to get it up and running. Unfortunately I am now out of money and out of work. Actually been out of work for a while now. Was hoping of getting this car finally completed but I need the money now more than I need the car.

This was my first BMW so it isn't easy letting it go, but it's time and pretty much have no choice. Bought it in 01. Black leatherette interior. Moon roof. A couple of pics are below. Car needs some body work on drivers side as you can see in the pics. On the interior the headliner is sagging, the moon roof lining is also sagging and the columns could use some help as well. Missing drivers side interior door panel, the hatch lid, spare tire, and floor mats. The passengers side rear speaker cover has a broken tab where the lid would swivel from. The rest of the interior is fine.

The car had a blown cylinder head, which has since been replaced. Found a good used one and had a valve job done to it, so it is in really good shape, almost like new. Had the engine checked as well. Had it deglazed and put in new piston rings so engine is in extremely good shape. It's been painted black as well. Putting this up to see what kind of interest there is in the car. Everything would go. Nothing held back. Not looking to sell it whole. I'm not working and bored and like working on cars so taking it apart and selling parts that folks need will help alleviate some of the pain.

Willing to ship out-of-state, maybe even the country. Car has all the parts so everything is good and some are even new. Will post price for certain items which I have a set price for. Most of the smaller items are up for sale.

Thanks.

How much for the fog delete panels? and do you have the nose panel and grilles?

spidertri 04-22-2011 12:34 AM

That doesn't look like a sport? Does it have the M tech rear bumper? How much for it shipped to 21078?

Spidertri - you are right. this is not a sport. I sort of remember when I bought it that the dealer told me something about a package. I thought it was sport but I guess I'm wrong having looked it up on wiki it seem like that's not it.

Cooljess - I only have the drivers side fog delete, can't find the passanger's. Yes, do have the nose panel and grills.

Hey mate, are you selling internals as well?
I recently got 318ti which is missing some little stuff.
Need shift knob, shift boot, and floor mats.
Let me know how goes it.

cooljess,

E-mail me your address, and I'll drop two delete panels in the mail to you, if you don't mind their being morea green. I installed fog lights in my car recently. JCA

are the rear speakers any goods?

cooljess76 04-22-2011 07:59 AM

318ti-redu - If the nose panel isn't dented or bent, PM me a price and I'll probably take it off your hands. Should be heading down south within the next week or two, but I could PayPal you the cash as soon as I see pics.

JCA - Thanks for the offer, but I was merely contemplating the fog deletes "just to have a set handy" since my car has fogs and OP was parting his car out anyway. You should hold onto yours, just in case one of your fogs breaks(it happens quite frequently with these cars) for some reason rocks are magnetically drawn to the foglights, lol.

I'm interested in the door panel stand-offs. How much for all of the ones you have shipped to 01830?

Gonna wait to see what kind of response I get this weekend to see if I change from feeler to actual part out. I will look into the questions posted so far to give an accurate answer. Thanks.
