Towson Meet
 

Hey guys! Dave (spiderti) and me are trying to get a meet going in Towson. Hopefully this way we can get some of the lower PA guys and MD people together. We're shooting for next weekend, so Sat 23nd or Sun 24rd. I don't think we're dead set on one of these dates, but I just wanted to toss this out to you guys so we can hopefully get something going.

Suggestion for an exact meet up spot and food is welcomed! thanks guys! :biggrin:

hey, i am in.....i missed the last meet in columbia. i am pretty much new to the site and my Ti. just got it a couple months back. basically i am hyped about there being an active Ti community out here.

i think u got the dates mixed up. 22nd is a friday and 23 is a Sat

Awesome! I've had my ti for awhile now but I'm now just really getting into the community so you won't be the only new person around. thanks for the heads up with the date I'll fix that.

It would be cool to get the word out and try and get as many people to come out as possible. This weekend might not be the best since it is such short notice. I can definitely meet up this weekend but I don't know how many other people can.

Where in Towson did you want to meet? I'm not too familiar with the area.

Ah Towson, nice little area. I used to live in the Reisterstown/Owings Mills area.

We can just shoot for another date now so we can get plenty of people together. Try to think of a date thats good for you.

Im not sure where I was thinking, the only real area I know around Towson is the mall, I think there might also be a small park down the road a little ways from there also. Im actual more familiar with the Hunt Valley area but that might be a stretch for you and some other people to drive.

Weekends are best for me. I start working full time next week in Baltimore so that doesn't leave much time during the week.

The one weekend I definitely can't do it is June 13/14th. Other than that I am free. Send out a PM to the people on the roll call list. Someone might know a good place around Towson to meet up.

Ok so I'm replying to myself again, but let's try to get together in Towson on July 11th. Someone who knows the area better than me suggest a spot where we could grab something to eat/ has a nice parking lot.

If this is the same meet I got the PM about, there's a BMW club autocross on July 11th at Summit Point Raceway. I'll probably be going to that. Any other dates available for the meet?

If that was the private message that I sent out, than yes. There is also a club race there the weekend of July 25-26. I posted information about these two events in the Mid-Atlantic Role call chat after the PM. I am up for either one if people want to go.

There's sort of a decent parking lot rear Towson Center---like over by the Barnes and Noble, as for food---I dun really remember the area well enough to recall...
