What lsd can I put in my 318ti 1996. I’m assuming I have a open diff.

If you can find a 3.45 small case LSD, that would be the direct swap. Hard to find nowadays, so some people find the medium case from the e30.

Have you tried spinning the wheels while the car is in the air?
