New ti owner
 

Hello,

I am doing this backwards, I already posted in the engine swap forum.

I am a long time BMW owner from the Chicago area. I have owned several E28, E34, E21, and currently own a 96 328I (garage queen), 95 325I (headed to the scrapper due to rust) , a X53 and a F150 for towing the cars to the track. I just picked up a 98 318ti with a blown motor. The paln is to swap the parts from the 325I into the 318ti. I used to be a mechanic in a past life so I do all my own work, I have been a active BMWCCA member for almost 20 years and have done several HPDE and autocross days. Here is picture of the stable

Welcome to the fold! I lived in Chicago (lincoln park) with my california top TI from 2017-2019. Great food in that town. You'll find some good info here!
