1995 318Ti Clubsport (1 of 300 or so) in Helrot Red

Updated 07/21/13. Selling my 1995 318Ti Clubsport. Very rare model with the M treatment (1 of 300). I'm the original owner and have all records. Maintained quite religiously. After taking into account member comments, kbb and autotrader listings, $3500.00 seems to be a fair price.

*Car in Illinois/Michigan
*Helrot Red
*164,000 miles currently. Never raced or autocrossed.
*5 speed manual
*Sunroof
*Everything works
*Interior: good condition (driver's seat fair condition/has a hole in the leather)
*Body: fair condition (couple dings, faded hood/fender paint, a few minor rust spots)
*New transmission/clutch at 90,000 miles.
*New A/C compressor at 160,000 miles (last year)
*Under 15,000 miles on tires
*Shocks/struts a bit tired

Taking offers now. Assuming it should command a premium $ over KBB estimate as one of the rare Clubsport models but maybe I'm wrong.

To some it's a rare ti, to others it's a 18 year old BMW.

Honestly I think the only ones who will appreciate a CS are .org members.

value?

kbb says $1400-1500. Its probably would fetch more than that as i rarely see 318Ti's go for near kelly, BUT its not truly sought after collectible, that people are looking to park in their garage as part of a collection thinking it might one day appreciate - certainly not with some of the issues you describe.

Of course, its always worth only what someone will pay.

Coming into Chicago next weekend. May be interested in taking a look. I already have a Helrot Red 95 vert and just bought a 97 ti in Boston Green last week for my daughter. Looking for an inexpensive toy for Autocross.
