seats?

I need the three seats only.
How much for them?

hotmilk400 10-02-2011 11:18 PM

Hey, i can not send you a private message because you are new here (u need 5 post before you can send them or get them)

anyway, for just the seats, i was looking to sell them with the panels for $550, but if you picked up the seats, i could do the seats and seatbelts for $400. i can not go lower, since i sold seats/panels for $550 before, but to sell just panels is harder. (rear panels are harder then front and i will probally have to ship them, and loss money on ebay fees/paypal)

anyway, if $400 works for you and you want to pick them up, let me know. on weekdays you would have to come after 4pm to meet my father (he lives near the car, i dont) and remove them yourself. he can help but he never did it before. i can remove them for you this weekend (oct 7,8,9), and sit them out. after that you can come pick them up without any work. if you pick them up on a weekend, i am free any time and can help you install them. takes only a few minutes.

thanks alot, let me know. i will post my email address for 1 day. please just send me an email.. i do not want to leave it up since i will get a ton of junk mail.

save it since it will be deleted soon.
thanks alot, -mike

I would deffinetly be interested in the WHOLE interior minus the headliner and A,B,C pillers as i dont need them mine were recently redone. If you could shoot me an email and we cant talk in more detail about it, i do need everything. right now too the carpet.

sent you an email, thanks alot.

If you decide to break up the interior, I am interested in the rear seat. (Bottom cushion and the 4-piece upper portion.) I'm in SoCal.

how much for the trunk switch shipped 33130

hotmilk400 10-06-2011 10:50 PM

Ralliart10:
you only need the temp switch connector? i do not know, PM me an offer, the shipping will be $1.50 for first class with tracking number.

Trikzta:
trunk switch, the part is not coming to mind (what it looks like) i will get back to you friday afternoon with a price. if it is a small switch easy to get it, it will be cheap, if it is inside of the locking part, possible more or something i will not part with .. it all depends. if it is apart of the hatch lock (in the hatch not the car base) i would want to keep it with the hatch.. sorry, give me a day to figure out where it is located and how it is attached, and i will let you know more.

trikzta 10-06-2011 10:54 PM

edit: well dude nvm about the switch is the trunk trim that doesnt push the button all the way.. i put a lil piece of tape and fixed

Do you know if the obdii diangositic port and the associated wiring is the same for 1996 manual ti? some time the past someone "repaired" my harness.

hotmilk400 10-07-2011 08:55 PM

i am not sure. i would doubt it is the same. even if it is the same, they change the colors they use often, so you might be trying to wire it up and you might end up matching to colors. the best way to know for sure is to look at a wire diagram for the manual 96 you have and compair to the wire diagram of a 98 auto.

as a side note, i would not be ready to part with the wires yet, at-least not until the motor and inside is gone. after that, i would consider it, but it would be hard since those wires run all over the place. you would have a better chance getting the wire diagrams and just follow the PO's wires to make sure they match.

also, you can totally ignore the OBD 2 port and use the port under the hood (next to the fuse box) it is the port they use in Europe since they do not have OBD2 ports like in the USA. (those ports are USA mandated, cars worldwide do not have them) BMW shops and dealers have the tools to read from that port (and you can get them online) but it might be harder to find a shop for inspection unless you tell them ahead of time.

doesn't your OBD2 port work at all? will it pass inspection if the mechanic hooks up the tool to it? i would suspect if there was a problem the car would fail due to not being able to be read with the tool.

NiteOp 10-08-2011 07:01 PM

odbii readable

the port is readable, it has a code for cat/o2 sensor. that cat was replaced by the PO. I can only assume the battery was unplugged terminals tied together to reset the codes and then smogged, passed and sold to me. but once the car drives for a while the cel comes on because the hot cat or rear o2 sensor is not matching the spec. I pulled the codes for the cel when i bought it, but I didnt pull the bottom of the dash off until later. code reader cant access all the functions, so I have till next inspection to figure it out. maybe a non issue, but i hate hacked wiring it always comes back to haunt you.... like at a autox or starting when its raining.
