Hello from SoCal I recently purchased a 1995 318i BMW for my daughter. Her first vehicle, which also happen to be my dream car when I was younger...lol Anyways, I know it will need some TLC with 145,000 miles, but it was in great condition from one owner who had it the entire time. I recently had a question, which was found in the forum already. I ordered the part I need and can't wait to replace it and keep it running great. |
Welcome to the community. My daughter has a Ti, other one a 318i sedan, grandson has a 95 Ti and I have two. Makes a ti(ght) family. Lots of good info on here, and a great bunch of enthusiasts too. Enjoy. |
Welcome and looking forward to hearing more about that great ti you got for your daughter!! |
Let's see, i like your guys rides. I may trade with her and play around with it and keep it for myself. I have to check on the oil leak on the bottom of it though. Hope it's nothing big. |
Most common oil leak we have is the o-ring on the oil filter canister. Not a difficult fix if you diy. Other leak could be the valve cover gasket, a bit more difficult, but not real bad. |
Great tip, I am taking it to a shop and see what they say. I will post the info for some feedback. Thanks |
Good choice for your daughter! When I was getting my license (6 years ago), my dad let me buy a 1968 1600-2. I have since supplemented that car with a 318ti. Your daughter will love it! |
Welcome to the .org- you'll find a wealth of information here and people always willing to help. Post pics. when you get a chance! |
