S52 ti - Question about Rear Suspension

Has anyone done a rear subframe reinforcement for the 318ti - S52 swap? Ive heard of the M-coupe and M-roadster rear end swap, but these seem rare and thus expensive.

I know a good welder who can likely gusset and reinforce the ti subframe.

Im wondering if anyone has used this Izzy Differential Mount Kit? $250 for some sheetmetal... but cut to the car, seems ideal.

Looking for any and all input....

Sorry Ive done googling and information is limited outside of 'slap in an M coupe rear suspension'

Actually just got mine in the mail yesterday.
I was looking for other people's installs and that's how I found your post.

Generally upgrading to the M coupe/roadster rear subframe is the upgrade.

If you are welding on the tub, you might as well gut it and weld in a cage. Generally the 1.8/1.9 powered ti does not suffer suspension mount tears unless the car was tracked- even then it’s pretty rare.

The Z3 2.8/3.0 parts fit but the track is wider. That limits tire choices unless you go “wide body” which I suppose is an option too.
