99' 316i M43B19 -> M42 SWAP
 

Hey guys,

I have successfully completed the swap for an M42B18 in my 1999 316i Compact (Originally M43B19).
It runs and drives, but i still have a few issies.

Being a 99' car - it was equiped with ASC.
Since the M43 was running BMS46 ECU and the M42 i swapped uses Motronic 1.7, ASC no longer has the CAN input from the ECU, which leaves me with no ABS.
Is there some easy fix available for this issue?

Also, car originally came with the BC installed, and now since the swap, i no longer see fuel consumption numbers on the BC. Is there some way i can mate the two to make it work?
