1995 318ti Clubsport Hellrot for sale

I have decided to sell my 1995 318Ti Clubsport. I bought it as a project from a loan company that reposessed it from its previous owner. It is a original club sport. For those of you who dont know the difference between them, Ill give you a list on what I know is different.

From what ive read, True clubsports came in only two colors, black and red. On the books around 290-300 were built in the latter months of 1995, specifically, October. They had red millpoint interior, Msport body package including bumpers, side skirts, and mirrors along with better springs. The engine was the same M42 but the differential was a 3.46 LSD.

I bought the car with light front rigth damage and a very nasty interior. I have so far put a transmission in it and new clutch since previous owner destroyed them both. I bought a used drivers fender, a new grill section, and new M3 bumper. I have put a custome made intake, exhaust, lowering springs, after market steering wheels, corbeau forza drivers seat since factory seat was broken, and short throw shifter in it. The front of the car needs paint, and most of the interior needs to be redone, buti do have most all the parts for the intereior. I would love to finish it, but just dont have the time and money for that matter. car has 108XXX miles on it.

I have the original title in hand, but previous owners never got it changed over, i was told by the loan company to just get a bonded title, I just never got around to it. If someone is really interested I will get a title for it. Let me know if your interested and ill send more pictures. Im new to forum life, so go easy on the noob. Im selling for 3500.00 obo. And "or best offer" definately stands.

The car is located in Tupelo, MS 38804. I forgot it also has new belts, A/C does work in the car. It also has brand new motor mounts and custom made third link mount.

that car could have been repossessed for abuse! hope you saved the original drivers seat, steering wheel and have the interior door panel. It's worth more original.

did you add the race/fighter plane toggle switches left of the wheel?

whats the brace between motor and fender?

Its called a torque rod, its a cheap way to help a car hook up when you drop the clutch hard under power, it also reduces load on the motor mount rubber during aggressive shifting. It can also help eliminate the shudder from a hot clutch. Or make you really feel it if its bad :)

I install them on FWD cars all the time to help them pull smoother out of a turn at the track. Many FWD cars have really spongy motor mounts.

can you post more interior/exterior pix.. and get the title straightened out... or i could possibly buy it w/out and title it here in SC with a notarized bill of sale..

pdxmotorhead 11-16-2009 07:18 AM

I've been through two title replacements, no matter how simple it sounds it never is... At least in my neck of the woods. its so bad I refuse to even change a title anywhere BUT the DMV now. Cost me 2000 dollars and a week off from work once to straighten one out.

ouch.. SC is pretty simple, especially if he has a bank signed off on the lein.

I had a rig with a supposedly good title, when I sold it it turned out the title was actually invalid because it had been replaced by a PO on the rig, when his ex tried to take it.

I ended up paying the ex for the car, to get her to sign-off because I had sold the car to someone else and it came up when they tried to license it in Washington, (I'm in Oregon) and they did a full vin check and inspection. The A** I bought the car from had disappeared by then.

Then I bought a beater old truck, turned out the title was for the cab only and I could not get the vin inspected. Because the Frame title was still in another guys name. Luckily he was cool and just signed it over to me... He was pissed because the guy who he actually gave the other truck too swore he was just going to pick some parts off it and scrap the rest, so the kid had never changed the title, but put his good cab on the frame which had been wrecked.

Then I sold a car for my Mother in law, the guy never changed the title and ran up 1300 dollars in parking fines and they issued a bench warrant for her. Did not make my life happy as you can imagine..... Finally found a cool guy at the state who helped me track the sob down....

So buy or sell we meet at the DMV ....

Dave (I'm not bitter honest!)
