keyless entry / security system

I have a question, could I use a keyless entry out of a 96 318ti on a 98 318ti sport, if so what type of fob would i need? part no. 82 11 1 469 445

Yes it's the same key fob, There are threads on here showing you how to reprogram them to your car.

2 button fob, The 3 button fobs where for pre +95 BMW's
