1996 BMW 318ti Sport For Sale; Automatic

5 Attachment(s)
We sadly have to part with this very cool little car we bought for our daughter. She (the car - not my daughter) has ~124k original miles on the odometer, and as far as I (and the seller I bought from) can tell, it is all original (except for the parts listed below). We repaired/replaced these items in the past four months, or so:

1. air intake hose assembly
2. intake bypass hose
3. crank case vent valve
4. new thermostat
5. new radiator & cap
6. sunroof:
a. Bowden Cable
b. Left/Right rails
c. Repair kit (replaced missing screws, etc)
d. modified headliner on sliding pan to reduce friction/jamming
7. new headliner
8. new Denso A/C compressor/clutch assembly, & drier
9. front brake service: rotors, pads, linings, sensor
10. tie rod assembly
11. bushings
12. control arms (left & right)
13. body moldings
14. gas shocks for hatch
15. antenna bezel
16. air bag service, oil service (Synthetic BMW specs)
17. rear driver side qtr panel repair & paint.

The body is near-pristine, the engine runs very well, and the interior is also in good condition. Original radio/cassette works fine, too. Tinted windows all around, and all power works well (sunroof, L/R windows, L/R mirrors). Black exterior, with black/gray leather/cloth interior.

We're asking $4900 for her (we've put around $8700 into her, incl purchase price).

Respond here if interested, and I'll send my phone/email for further discussions. We are in Plano, TX (northern suburb of Dallas).

I don't know.
It's a good starting price with many typical worn items already replaced.

Did it sell?

new price!

I dropped the asking price down to $3999, and have gotten much more interest at this price point. Thanks for the feedback, everyone.

'96 ti still available...

I've had some very interested queries, and one very serious test driver who wants it 'badly'...but we havent come together on price yet. His best offer:$2900. I can move off $3999 for the right buyer, but not that low.

a new home...

The car sold this past weekend to a guy in the area who likes to work on cars, and has the time to put into this fine little car that I didn't have. I'm sure he'll have a blast with her! Thanks everyone who posted comments and suggestions... Dave (in Dallas).
