318ti 1jz Swap
 
Thinking about buying a 318ti shell, no motor no transmission seller had a 2jz motor in along with a manual transmission, I am looking for swap options thinking of going with the 1jz Swap any feedback ?

You or anyone else still interested in the 2JZ swap? Newbie here, sorry if not properly posted... I have the following: 2004 BMW 318ti 2 door hatch *right hand drive* daily driver, drives great but stock auto trans sometimes slips in 1st, very good factory original silver paint 8 out of 10 exterior (easy to make a 9.5 out of 10 with new weather strips and polish the headlights) interior nice except headliner has a few minor loose areas, everything stock, N42 engine, no modifications, everything stock except stereo and speakers, black cloth interior 8 out of 10 (easy to make it a 9.5 out of 10 with headliner repair or replacement) only known issues: AC not working (suspect electrical, was working great then suddenly one day mid trip would not turn back on, AC clutch not engaging) and the random slipping in 1st gear, one of the rear brake rotors is thin 2JZ engine currently in a daily driver, very good condition, normally aspirated, no modifications stock engine except nice dual mufflers, with all accessories, wire harness, computer (for automatic transmission) power steering pump may need replacement, will sell with or without transmission, can send video of anything you want to confirm for serious interest only please, currently in a 1995 Toyota Soarer (same as Lexus SC300) *right hand drive* with nice tan cloth interior 7 out of 10, cloth rare in states, most if not all SC300 in states have leather, pearl white exterior looks great for the most parts at 7 out of 10, paint appears mostly original but well done touch ups, has very minor blemishes including a few hard to notice small rust spots, decent rims with low profile tires in good condition, rear wheels & tires slightly larger than front, worn out adjustable coil overs need replacement, lowered, power steering leaks (rack and pump) power windows not working, interior has minor blemishes, transmission had rare moments of delayed reverse, changed fluid with Lucas additive and so far been perfect (anticipate transmission may need attention) Will consider all reasonable offers for the 2004 318ti complete. Will consider all reasonable offers for the 2JZ (no parts from the 2JZ, must buy at least entire long block, prefer to sell everything complete together). $5,000 US (plus shipping) takes all. Also willing to consider trades: wanting complete 5 speed swap for my 318ti, considering K series or similar lightweight swap also
