The UNLOVED BMWs I love both my cars.. but they are not the most popular BMW's http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/01.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/02.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/03.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/04.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/05.JPG http://homepage.mac.com/bozola/unloved/06.JPG ________ marijuana trichomes |
I love evolution! |
I hope to join the 1 club in the future. You just make me want it more! |
I don't really understand the thread title.... The 1 series is definitly a unique car all its own. It's a new design! I can't afford a used one they are so new so I wouldn't really consider it unpopular...just uncommon. The Ti is very loveable and unique. If they were as popular as the Civic, I don't think they would be as fun to own. |
I've only seen 4 ones. And two of them were friends of mine doing Performance Center Delivery. I'd say sales are very low compared to the three or it may just be that there are more threes on the road near me. |
the 1 series is somewhat unpopular because it's priced so close to the 3 series, when given the choice, an average person is more likely to go for the 3 series |
Well a lot of people consider the ti rice. And not many like the 1, because it reminds them of the x6. |
I love both the 1 series(particularly the 135i), and the Ti, btw looking at ur Ti makes me wanna get some M Contours for mine, to replace my Style 27's which have a decent amt. of curb rash. Today, I saw a 135 vert. and 2 318Ti's, both were blue too, one of them was Avus, and the other was Montreal(i think), both of them might have been Avus tho. |

The 1 and ti are "too small" in this part of the world. In my area, I see cars like Chrysler 300s and Dodge Chargers left and right, and as mentioned above, the price for a 1 is so close to the 3 series that people would just go ahead and get an E90. I haven't seen anybody call my ti rice, it's just the way that people treat em and mod em. Also, it's just unloved because they don't like how the rear looks, and it was only offered with the M42/M44 motors. At the time that the ti was offered here in the US, I believe that SUVs and trucks were the popular things to get. I've slowly been seeing more and more 1's recently, but between the 1 and the 3, there's still way more 3's out there. |
Over here a lot of people make jokes about the 318TI, but I don't care! Their aren't a lot of TI's riding around, so I like it-:) |
I would love a 1-series compact! http://www.motorauthority.com/conten...n_630-0108.jpg isn't she lovely? |
I don't know, the 1 series Compact kinda reminds me of a station wagon... I would have to see it in person I guess. But then again, when I first bought my ti I wasn't thrilled about the body design and I had my mind set on a Honda Del Sol. But the Del Sol had been in three accidents in three years so I bought the ti instead and on the drive home I forgot what a Del Sol looked like... |
