guys please put the BMW 1995 E36 318ti on the wishlist as well as LS1 swaps for cars

here is what I've got so far:

Car buying features:

* Offer different options when buying cars (ie: fully loaded vs base package)
* Not only select exterior color but interior color

Driving features:

* Addition of nighttime driving
* Pan view around car interior
* Addition of weather conditions
* Improve realism in engine modification sounds (NA, Turbo, Supercharger)
* Remove generic engine sounds (ie: the rumble of a WRX STi engine)
* Somehow branch the driving experience from outside of the track only (construct another Benchmark type platform but expanded)
* More locations outside of the race track for picture taking
* Ability to open hood, trunk, windows and doors in photo mood

Car modification features:

* Functioning headlights and foglights with aftermarket options (housings/color temperature)
* Purchasable mufflers and exhaust tips with matching sound
* Purchasable exhaust sections (ie: track pipes, headers, or just muffler)
* Improve selection of aftermarket rims
* Paint brake calipers
* Ability to paint rim centers, lips, or bolts individually
* White paint for rims
* More engine swap options for all makes and models (ie: BMW)
* Fully custom suspension options (ie: offset)
* Improved better exterior bodykit/aero selection
* Addition of interior customization (seats, trim, ect)
* Purchase stock rims from other makes and models
* Modify stock rims
* Addition of exterior body panel conversions within makes (ie: US spec vs Euro/JDM front end conversions)
* Addition of sticker and vinyl on windows and rims
* More Carbon fiber products

Special ideas:
I would like to see Forza bring more of the street car community into the game like sponsorships, in game magazine photoshoots, and crew cruises. I'd be cool if Forza did a monthly magazine feature on a user's car or storefront accompanied by a photoshoot done by the person. They could name the magazine ForzaTuner Magazine, and construct a new issue every month to be viewed online in game. Probably a paragraph or two about the gamer and car and what special they've done to their car or storefront products.

No porsche is killing me but the rest of the game looks great. No nighttime or weather but they have valid reasons for that. Still hoping the Z3M will be in there, I think that is the closest we'll get to a ti, aside from the E30.

preordered mine from Best Buy a little while ago, if you preorder through them you can get the 1 series M, plus you get free Forza 4 fuzzy dice :biggrin:

Best Buy near me would not let me preorder the Limited Edition and I want it launch day so a website purchase is out. Gamestop has the lame alfa, maybe wal mart for the mini?

Z3M and E28 M5 are in the game, awesome!

when I ordered it from Best Buy there was an option to get faster shipping and get it on launch day, it's more expensive though

so who else has made replicas of their cars with the M3? :biggrin:

I drive the m coupe cause it reminds me of the Ti more. And with the s52 swap it's pretty spot on.

I just wanted something that looked close to my car :biggrin: also, I love that they finally added a carbon fiber print vinyl, makes it so much easier to make CF parts

I just noticed that the Ford Escort Cosworth without the factory wing looks a little bit like a ti.

so, no Ti in it? i have 2 copies coming for 360, but they are going to hit ebay ASAP.. haha. no time to play it, so why open them? i can very excited to take this game for a spin though, looks amazing.

No ti in it. It is way better than Forza 3 in just about every way. Definitely worth playing.

Dude... everyone knows that the 318ti is the same as the SEDAN from the A-pillars forward, so you should have used a sedan. :wink: :biggrin:

(I'm too busy playing Team Fortress 2 to be bothered with Forza. heh heh)

the M3 coupe is the only E36 in the game, it was the closest I could get sadly :frown:

I acquired an xbox. Is it really worth getting? What about all the extras? I saw the one Forza 4 going for 130 bucks, whats the deal? Is the base game worth anything without all of the extras?

i thought old people dont play video games. then again, some guy i work with thats like 40 plays xbox..., get Forza 4.i buy two games every year or two years, forza and battlefield.

I don't play them much. I've got about 5 hours of Burnout Paradise, 10 minutes of Resident Evil 5 in, and about an hour of Halo 3. I got the xbox for free, with 5 games.

My favorite is Gran Turismo 2.... on the ancient PS1. GT 3/4 were cool, but too many hours to complete the game...

I have actual arcade games too...

You'll be fine with the base game. The one going for $130 is the limited collector's edition which retailed at $80 and just included some other car packs. If you decide you want the extras you can buy a season pass which gives you 6 DLCs at reduced prices.

Picked it up this morning.... 0 cash spent. Finally used some gift cards...

I've had since black friday, got up to level 12 and got the RROD, so won't be playing it for awhile till i get it fixed, till then its GT5.

Is your xbox still under warranty? I had two RROD both fixed under warranty but that was like 2 years ago now. Sorry to hear you have to play GT5...

Its way out of warranty, bought it like 7yrs ago.

My brother has a stack of RROD xboxs. I need to get them and see if I can fix them. I really need an xbox in every room
