Ti track pics So I know the guys up the Northeast are not getting out the track anytime soon, so here are some track pics to get you through the snowy season. These were taken at Daytona International Speedway at the end of October. Running the 24 hour configuration with PBOC. The first three are a three wheeling motion shot. All pictures taken by Henry Kowalski of ColourTech South. The best motorsport photographer in the Southeast. http://lh6.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2037%20086.jpg http://lh4.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2037%20087.jpg http://lh6.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2037%20088.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...%207%20039.jpg |
Those are great pics. I can't wait until next year when my wife and I can get back to the track. When is the next track day? |
Damn, That is stiff suspension. I'm thinking about Barber over the Memorial Day weekend. |

I'll get some more up later tonight, busy with holiday stuff today. Quote:
January is one of my busiest months usually because the weather is great for the track. 60degrees with usually crystal clear blue skies. More 3-wheeling http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2016%20079.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2034%20783.jpg http://lh6.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2016%20117.jpg |
This is probably my favorite photo out of everything that was taken. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...%204%20047.jpg SUNOCO! http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...%204%20150.jpg FINISH! http://lh4.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...2022%20101.jpg http://lh5.ggpht.com/_DCEcMmuu2u0/Sy...%207%20019.jpg Look at me, in front of the GT3 RS... To bad he is probably lapping me for the second or third time, and in another 100yards or so, he was going past me. I was probably doing 125mph right there. Based on other cars I was in that weekend, that Porsche was probably in excess of 160. Notice I'm lower on the banking, slow cars stay low. |
Nice pics. Diam, that's tempting me to get back onto the track |
Very nice pics man. Looks like you had a great day at the track. I wish I could get mine where I could take it out on the track but that will be later. |
I'd love to submit this type of photos for a calendar spot, but I don't have the rights to the pictures. I have to much respect for the photographer that took it, to not get his permission first, and just never looked into it. Steve- If he would allow me to use one of these pics if it has one of his logos and a photo credit on it, would you allow that? Maybe we should do an all track picture calendar next year. |
these are some really nice pics. what have you done with your suspension? My front wheels dont lift like that what I've done-->Bilstein B14PSS, H&R anti roll kit, Z3 M Roadster XBrace, front tower strut, E36 M3 wishbone bushings, E46 M3 convertible rear strut guide supports, Z3 strut guide support reinforcements.....has to be street legal so there arent much options left oh and I have a contribution to this thead ;-) http://i47.tinypic.com/2zp0ftf.png http://i49.tinypic.com/5odmvs.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/2i7rbcy.jpg A guess anyone? :-D |
