Car overheating. Fan & AC not working
 

The other day my car's temp went up to the 3/4 while idling in traffic. Driving brought it back down to center.

I checked under the hood and saw two things:
1.) My radiator fan is not turning on.

I called my father and he had me turn on the AC to see if my fan worked then (It did.) He told me to replace my temp switch in the radiator and possibly my Hi fan relay. Threads on here agreed. The temp switch was replaced a year ago when I replaced my thermostat, but...

2.) While snooping around I noticed I'm starting to get a leak from the top hose in my radiator. I had the parts anyways so I replaced the radiator and hoses first before dealing with anything else. I put all the new parts on (bled the system as the DIY on here says) and I rechecked the fan with the AC on.. it will no longer turn on, nor do I hear the AC compressor kick on anymore. I switched both of the yellow relays and no change.

So far I've.. (in order..)
1. tried jumping the fan from the sensor per Bentley manual and got no response from either the high or low
2. Replaced the magenta relay
3. Replaced the big fuse behind the knee bolster
4. Replaced all the related fuses in the fuse box

I don't have anything to check voltage. Where should I check next? I think I read the next step is to check the resistor but I'm unsure how. I work an hour outside of town and go to school the other 2 days so I'm unsure what tests I can do in the meantime. The car will still overheat while idling and the heater off so I'm getting worried how I'll get to work.

At this point I'm just wondering if I have a bad fan or fan motor. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Also would my fan not working cause my AC to no longer work or do I have another issue beginning to brew?

If it were my car I'd just go ahead and overhaul the entire cooling system at this point, we all know they go and when they do they kill the engine. Just my $0.02

It was meant to be rebuilt in July, but instead of my father visiting vegas and helping, we went to my grandfathers funeral instead. At this point I'm keeping an eye on it until my father comes back. taking off the intakes and messing with fuel lines I feel goes above and beyond my level of experience.

I jumped the fan on both speeds today when taking off the relays, so I'm unsure where to go at this point.

Don't drive it if it overheats...fix it first or risk engine damage or destruction. (Ask me how I know!)

What year model do you have?

If you have a 98 and up, check these fuses>

F16 - 5 Amps
F48 - 40 Amps

If you have 96 and older model, let me know.

Check these fuses first.
F16- 5Amps
F48 - 40 Amps

Then try this:
Unplug the radiator fan electrical connector and apply 12V directly to the fan. The connector is on the driver side of the fan motor.

Sorry for the late reply guys. School got in the way and I stopped driving the car until I did the coolant rebuild.

I just finished putting my engine back together.. I'm in the process of bleeding the system now. When my friend was getting out of the car she accidentally hit the accelerator and coolant spewed out of my bleed screw. That caught my attention. I closed my bleeder screw and had her hold onto the gas at 1500RPM and bubbles were coming up from the reservoir tank.

So my question.. did I do too little too late and my HG is blown?
No smoke from the back
No milky substance on my oil cap
I know there's still air in my system since my heater isn't working. I've only done one round of bleeding.
