TRACK DAY / DRIFT CAR

Sorry guys,

But after attending japfest on saturday and being introduced to 200sx track action and drifting i have decided early next year to buy an old nissan s13 200sx track day / drift car.

Will be keeping the ti for work, etc. But the bulk of my cash will be going towards the D1 car.

Initial plans will be:

Strip interior.
S14 front brakes and possibly F & R hub 5 stud conversion for larger wheel choice.
LSD or welded diff.
coilovers.
exhaust.
apex - apexi filter kit.

that should get me started.

future plans will welcome the removal of the aircon, heaters, fans, and anything that is not essential.

Nick.

BTW - recently started my own company dealing in Von Dutch and Ed Hardy Products. check it out at www.wearurban.com.

nice work on the shop Nick. is there much of a drifting scene over here?

hell yeah! we had a ton of sx's on the stand (at least 30/40) and the bulk of them were geared for track/drift setups. be aware though you need to have the balls to use a spanner yourself if you intend ever getting one as costs spiral out of control FAST. Mate has spent 15k on his so far and we fitted the bulk of bits. tempted to get an old CA18DET now and start building it in my garage.

yeah, ive heard that drifters can be a money pit. good luck with that fella. hopefully the shop can finance it.

Word on that shop! I have a buddy who has a S13 with a SR20det motor in it. this thing is unbelievably quick. As well as, give it a little flick, and it will slide all day ;). have fun!
