Thermostat housing Found my problem but not sure what I will need to remove to make the hard job easier. My thermostat housing has a broken male water line broke off, I found the loose hose with the piece from the housing in it. Now how do I replace it? I was wrong it is on the back side of the engine and it is the heater hose housing that needs replace. Any thoughts on replacing it IE: what all can or should come off to make it easier to get to. Plan to replace both heater house and thermostat housing and flush with new hoses as well. |
Sounds like your car is telling you is time for a cooling system Rebuild not expensive at all take a weekend or a few free days and take care of that better than having to rebuild or replace the engine there's a DIY here on the site |
