SOLD I am selling my green base model '98 318ti hatchback to a good home.
From Austin, Tx

1.9L 4 speed automatic with manual option.
2 door with hatch.
Light gray leather seats (no tears).
Heater and A/C work.
Motor sounds good. No running issues
Open Title
Currently inspected in Texas (non-emissions)

Within the last 7k miles this work/new parts has been done:
Brakes and sensors all around
Driver Caliper
ICV cleaned
TPS (junkyard)
Ignition switch (junkyard)
Bosch spark plugs (not wires)
A/C condenser
Motor mounts
Last oil change was at 235k miles (still clean)
Front wipers
Fuel filter

New parts/work in the last 1k miles:
Belts
Air filter
Secondary air hose
Breather hose from valve cover
Thermostat and coolant change
Heater core flushed
Hatch shocks
Rear wiper
Battery

There is a small oil leak (most likely the front main seal, the camshaft had been in and out thanks to someone not knowing how to check for the real issue which was the ICV) and I was told the rack and pinion needs to be replaced. Power steering fluid is leaking enough onto the driver caliper to cause it to squeal. No other mechanical issues are known or suspected.

Neither leak impairs the car. Both leaks are minor. Put stop leak in both. Haven't noticed low oil since (about 2k miles ago) and the power steering stop leak was added 2 weeks prior to the last time I drove it. Not enough time to tell a difference.

Interior is all there. Driver carpet has a hole. No radio (missing since I got the car). Front windshield has 1 small hole/crack (smaller than half a dime, center-bottom). Driver door lock cylinder does not want to move. It has worked previously but the passenger door and hatch locks work fine (I think it's the worn out key). The trim piece between the passenger door and front windshield needs to be replaced and driver's side piece needs the liner reattached. The door panels are off the doors because someone broke off the clips when removing them to replace the window motors.

Minor damage to the exterior of the driver's door and front fender. Clear coat is peeling all over the car. No rust or holes in the body. No hood shocks. Tint on both door windows and hatch window needs to be replaced.

I bought this car as a fixer upper to resale. Picking up the car is your responsibility. Car is sold as is. There is a junkyard alternator with it that is good according to the parts stores. (belts were whining, it was the power steering pump low on fluid)
