Lightweight flywheel

Hi, first time posting here and my question was if going to a jb lightweight flywheel was a good idea, I'm going to change my clutch soon and wanted to make sure getting a lightweight flywheel wasn't going to damage my car.

From what I have read a lightweight flywheel is perfectly fine. The guy at understeer.com has a bit of a review on the one he installed. I actually have a M3 Fidanza one waiting to be installed on my vehicle, but things are apart at the moment.

We have run 7 24hr of lemons races w the rhd light flywheel. Fantastic stuff and the car is better to rev match etc.

what clutch are you running and did you have to do a modifications for it to fit or did everything just bolt right in?

We got whatever is recommended. I think it’s an m20 Sachs setup. Didn’t have to modify anything
