Auto to Manual Swap Information Page
 

I finally got the parts for my Auto to manual conversion and I am finding that information for this swap is spread out and people who want to learn about it have to do a lot of searching. I am going to put links for all of the useful pages relating to this project in this thread. Once I find a place to do the work, I will also use this as my swap thread.

I also thought it would be a good idea to post all of the small stuff that I will have to order from pelican before doing the swap. Anyone who has done this please help complete this list. The main stuff is pretty self explanatory.

New stretch bolts for flywheel
metal to make tool to hold flywheel still when removing/installing bolts
clutch alignment tool
Seals for engine and transmission (see cirrus' thread)

good luck, I did this in the past and it felt like a whole new car after I was done. I hope you got a diff too. If not you are going to wish you had.

Can this be used? It's rusty as hell but Im thinking I'll use some steel wool or a wire brush. It only needs to last 5-10K miles until my engine is ready to go in. I would rather not buy two clutch kits.

The diff will have to wait a while. I want to get an LSD and in the meantime, it looks like I'll have a torquemonster.
