Replaced water pump and fixed window regulator

Wow, I've been busy this week with the ti. First, on friday last week, there was a whurring noise coming from the engine compartment. After listening around, my uncle (mechanic) and I removed the belts to rotate the water pump since that was the suspected culprit. He (mostly) and I replaced it in 1.5 hours with a re-manufactured BMW OEM one. Also, last week, my window fell into the door. After opening it up, I temporarily got it back up to the top position. Went to BMW and got the plastic sliders that broke and some White Lithium grease spray and re-bent the metal hinged system connected to the window and re-clipped them in. After about 1 hour and a few cut fingers, I got it back together. Man was that a pain. Also relatively recently I replaced my central locking actuator. That was perhaps the most annoying car work I've ever done. I somehow did it without removing the locking mechanism since I didn't want to have to remove it completely.

If anyone has these problems and needs them resolved, feel free to PM me. I'll try to help out as much as possible.

I've been using Teflon dry lubricant in the tracks instead of grease. Seems to be a little smoother thus far, but can't really tell until the winter.

Oh, that's a great idea. I have a bottle of 5 micron teflon powder that I'll use.
