FS: Complete Red Millpoint interior $800 Ohio

****SOLD****

***New price of $800. Would really like this sold and can offer really cheap shipping.***

I bought this interior a few years back off a 1998 Ti with 73,000 miles that had sustained moderate damage to rear quarters. Interior is complete and in 8/10 - 9/10 condition.

Includes:
Front sport seats (not heated)
Rear lower, upper and side bolsters
Front door cards
Rear side cards
E-brake boot

The good: no fading, no stains, no tears, minimal scuffs on bolsters. Seats are square, true and adjust freely. The interior sits as I rec'd it and has been covered in dry, secure and rodent free storage since. I don't think any posts are missing on the doors either. I remember one being loose and epoxying it back in place upon receiving.

The bad:
-as a result of the accident (I assume) the passenger seat slides on the rails but does not quite latch/catch in place, though it does if you force it so it's close. Lever still works, I think a small adjustment would fix this OR you can use your own seat bottom and transplant the foam/leather/fabric onto yours.
- back of the drivers seat has a small crack around the flip lever due to gorillas at scrappers replacing the seat back for me (had a different crack).
- Only flaw in ANY of the fabric is an eraser sized hole on the back edge of the back seat bottom. This is invisible with the seats up and down.

Probably don't have to tell you how rare this is. My only reason for contemplating selling is that I own a 1999 Ti that requires side airbag covers in the door cards, my own interior is near perfect and would like $ toward finishing my kitchen. No lowballs on price please- for a complete, rare interior this is a fair price. Shipping can be made manageable too via Fedex Ground and my company's discount. I once shipped a similar interior from OH to CA for around $100. Yes, total. Expect under $200. It will be packed well and insured.

hi i am interested in the interior i have a few questions.
1) is it still available
2) can u upload some pictures

Mr.Squeelerz 03-15-2009 10:23 PM

Waiting for pics too.

96cali 03-16-2009 06:47 AM

got pics but my day was slammed with getting our house ready to sell. The good news is I dropped the front seats off at the detailer (looked dusty, had never cleaned them anyway) and they came back AMAZING. Doesn't look like any stains or fading on the fabric anywhere. Only some slight cracking/wrinkles on the drivers thigh bolster.

96cali 03-17-2009 05:21 AM

drivers side bolster close up, some details of crack above flip lever, crack on back of pass seat net, ebrake boot and handle (mechanism included)

backseat pics

seat bottom was detailed, seat backs/bolsters were not

Beautiful... I am seriously drooling.

If I didn't have to pay my mortgage this month that would be in my garage as we speak...

Whoever gets these is one lucky dog...

96cali 03-17-2009 06:01 AM

Pains me to let them go. I f they don't sell I will be a bit relieved.

wolferj-RIP 03-17-2009 06:25 AM

Well, "loan" them to me, I'll refinish the bolster and seat, and you can have them back (+interest!) at a future date!

Good luck with the sale...

Mr.Squeelerz 03-17-2009 03:56 PM

Nice set!! With the burn hole....is it only noticeable with the seat back removed?

96cali 03-17-2009 04:41 PM

Yes, only visible when back is removed. It's way back there.

I can believe it, everyone wants it, but no one wants to spend $1000 bucks + shipping for it ;)

I should also mention I would deliver within a days round trip if you paid for gas. I realize most people on this forum don't have that cash laying around but when was the last time you saw this item come up for sale? I am not making money on it btw.

Sorry I have not responded to your PM's, I have been traveling a lot. Sorry, I will not separate. Honestly, if I were you I would start by trying to refinish your existing ones. WolferJ did an amazing job with his.

campaiar 03-29-2009 12:41 AM

You know, maybe we should get together and just test out the look of one of these seats in my car.

Silver car with Red/Black might look hot.

We need to get together again anyway and talk about your swap some more anyway.

b.u.ti-ful 03-29-2009 01:47 AM

Oh man. That interior would look so good in my car.

I wish I had some more money laying around.

That was my intention actually. Here's a preview with Arctic Silver. :)

b.u.ti-ful 03-29-2009 03:21 PM

I just realized those seats would not work with my gray interior.:ashamed:

campaiar 03-30-2009 07:00 PM

Hmm, I think I like it.

96cali 03-30-2009 07:12 PM

easy enough for you to find out, come on down and try em on for size.

They really cleaned up nice too, I would say there is no fading at all of the fabric.

96cali 08-14-2009 06:50 AM

96cali 11-17-2009 10:40 PM
