For Sale 1995 318TI One Woman Owner: Front End Damaged

OK guys. I will get some pictures up soon but I have a friend who has a 318ti that she bought new in German in 95 and has owned ever since. I have helped her maintain it over the last 6 years and it has I think 89K miles maybe less. It is in Florida with no rust and my friend babied this ti. Oh it has AC and is a 5spd manual.

Here is the problem the car was totaled out by her insurance company. We looked into getting it repaired but USAA was not willing to do that.

She wants this to go to someone who can use the car for parts or retitle it other than Florida. It is coming with a title that states to destroy or not title.

It is totally drivable (pics up soon). She hit an SUV that pulled in front of her. No rad damage but the front end is pretty toasted to include right front fender and hood.

The paint is white with black cloth interior and no rips or tears to the seats what so ever. Also the nicer BMW rubber mats are in it to protect the floor.

I think it is legal to drive this around during the day since the right headlight is broken in the crash.

She doesn't want to make money on this but get a token for her car to someone (meaning the 318ti forum first in my mind) that can really use all these great parts.

The car is located in the town of Niceville which is the panhandle of Florida and is the 32578 zip. Even though it is drivable with a current registration and title the title is going to USAA soon and will come back with the title labeled above.

If you want quicker turn around I am at flybarons@hotmail.com. I have had a couple 318ti's and except for changing the clutch have done all the work on them myself. Oh just remember the electric windows have been redone a number of times to keep them from falling into the door but I would not count on them being able to not stick as they all seem to do on ti's.

I have more pictures coming but here are two that show the damage...

Thanks

What does she want for it, mine is getting up there in miles, but runs amazing.
I would seriously consider this, cause I like to drive these and next owner looking at title is no issue, it would prob be NY salvage title when I get done registering it.

I have no idea. She just wants the car to go and live on. I have driven the car many times and the shocks and struts are still good, brakes good well everything is good other wise she would not be selling it. I have no idea if you can get this titled with a title from USAA that will say salvage or totaled.
My guess is 300 bucks.
I told her I would put this on this site because she loves this car and wants it to go to someone who will use all the parts for another ti or that can be repaired.
For what it is worth it is a sport model.
Will post more pictures tonight.
Just noticed I can only post two pictures. I have about 5 more of the interior and other side views if desired. Just post here if you want them or email me.
You are NOT going to be able to drive this car out of state the headlight on the pass side is damaged.

Surprised that it's totaled, it doesn't look that bad.

Nice of you to come to this site first, as you shouldn't have a problem off-loading it for beer money. Good luck and thank your friend for the service.

PS. the title of this gave me a little chuckle (no offense)

Give me an address, maybe I will do a road trip, I could use parts from mine to get it 100% and live on

Does she have a price in mind?

be right there

Give me price and address

$300 but until the title comes back from USAA it doesn't make sense to come get it. It is driveable and the repair cost was less than what USAA wanted to total it out for. She wanted it repaired but they told her that they will not approve a repair (too many members I assume that complained about concealed conditions post repair).

Location is Niceville, FL 32578 as I posted previously.

The car drives fine at any speed but the repair company had to cut those front holes to open the hood. The front light is toast on the drivers side, it actually lights but is unsafe to drive it at night headlight pointing who knows where.

Yes this is a good deal but having maintained this for her and having owned a couple ti's they are a soft spot in my heart. I love the way they drive.

For a faster response my email is flybarons@hotmail.com.

I would really love to see someone fix this and drive it again but not in Florida. Title must be in another state that will allow retitle of a car that is cursed with salvage or whatever it says when USAA sends it back...

Thanks guys this car is tight and handles well or did handle well. With the damage the ti drives straight and you would not know it nailed an SUV soccer mom who turned in front of her and was sited...

Hey guys there are two forum members that have contacted me about the car. I will honor the first member's desire to have the car and if he is unable the 2nd member is offered the car.
Thanks and if both members pass I will come back and update.

Update

Guys
I am working to prod the owner to find her title. I will keep asking her until it finally is sent to USAA.

Thanks and sorry for the delay out of my control.

Two local members are promised this car so unless something falls through it is considered gone...
