For sale:

1998 Green Auto 318ti

This has been my daily driver and is in great shape. I've done a lot of work on this car over the years including:

- new rad
- new drive shaft & center bearing
- new cooling system hoses
- new t-stat
- new struts up front
- just did the front brakes with slotted and drilled rotors
- everything works with the exception of the alarm (it likely needs a new BCM computer)
- replaced the engine and transmission (see below)
- I'll throw in a second set of rims for the right price.

It has ~270k miles on the odometer, but I replaced the engine and transmission at 250 with a matched engine and transmission from a Z3 convertible via Bavarian Auto Recyclers. If I recall correctly the engine had about 125k on it.

I've always used full synthetic and kept the oil changed on schedule.

Now for the bad:

1) It has a warning light that's associated with the passenger side seat belt tensioner sensor. Seat belt works file. I've just not bothered to get this fixed.

2) The body could use a bit of work here and there, but nothing major.

I really love this little car, but life intervenes and it needs to go to a good home. I would really like to see if go to an enthusiast. Bring cash and drive it away. I'm open to all reasonable offers.

The car is still available.

I did find two small issues that I'm fixing before I sell the car. One of the ABS sensors coded (front) so I'm replacing both of the front sensors. And oddly, the windshield washer pump gave up so I'm fixing that too.

Parts from Pelican should be here on Thursday and the car should be buttoned back up by the weekend.

A couple of more things that I forgot from my initial post:

- I replaced the fuel pump about 25k miles ago.
- I replaced the windshield about 35k miles ago.
- I replaced the value cover gasket when the engine was swapped.

Also, I forgot to mention in my original post that I replaced the fuel pump about 25k miles ago. So that's new as well.
