WTT: 1996 M3 Coupe for your 318ti Cali-Top plus cash.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to get a 318ti California top. I have a 1996 Techno Violet M3 coupe on dove interior with a manual transmission with 62k miles. It's in great condition, drives fabulous, needs nothing. Just did an oil change, tires still have a lot of life left in them, and the car is completely stock with the exception of the Motorsport cross-brace (X-brace).

Does anyone have a clean 318ti California-Top and is wanting to upgrade to the M3? the 318ti must be a manual transmission. I'd be interested in a trade for your 318ti plus cash of course to even out the playing field.

Please respond here, send me a PM, e-mail me at PUK9901@aol.com or call me at 915-433-9207. My name's Patrick.

Thanks guy's!

Interested. Can I get some pics mailed to ninety6cali@hotmail.com please?

Quick stats for me: 1999 (1 of 540 inported that year), 5 speed, cali top, 125k miles, M-Technic, gray millpoint + black leather sport interior, DINAN intake and software, side air bags, CD43 player installed+ 6 CD changer in trunk, mesh grille, heated seats, OBC... probably every option commonly available. NEW FACTORY CAT. Bought it 2 years ago and other than a dead battery and tick/click that just started 3 days ago when the fan cycles on at startup it's been a rock solid car. Top leaks a bit but my 1996 did too and you're very likely to encounter that with any cali top.

Tons of extra, rare parts too all uninstalled- red millpoint interior (but no side airbag panels), 3.45 LSD, Koni+HR suspension, Rogue RSM's, extra complete cali roof, 17 x 7.5" style 18's, probably more.

PM me with pics and I'll try and get some for you. Located in Cincinnati.

Hmmmm.... I forgot to mention I want the 318ti to be completely stock or very close to it. I'll still get those pictures to you just in case though. I'll send those to you soon.

Maybe I was not clear but it IS practically stock. My only mods have been the BMW CD43 headunit (to replace cassette), the black mesh grille (an M3 factory option) and true OEM M3 mirrors. DINAN is a factory authorized/warranteed aftermarket supplier (as you probably know) and the intake is NLA.

Interior condition is 9/10 as well, non-smoker car.

The other stuff is not installed yet.

Ah okay. I read this post right when I woke up so I was probably a bit out of it. Would you be able to reverse the Dinan software and replace the stock intake?

I'll send a few pictures now.

No, car came that way and believe me, it's a very nice upgrade. I took manofgun for a ride a couple weeks ago and he can testify it makes the power smooth out as well as add a few ponies.

Email replied.

Thank you! Techno Violet is my absolute favorite E36 color ever produced. It's the number one reason why I bought this car.
