oem alarm: difference between 82111496445 & 82111469444 Can someone tell me the difference between stock oem alarms #82111469444 (listed on realoem as stock e36 alarm) and 82111496445 (cant find it on realoem). Anyone know of any place were I can identify that 82111496445 fits e36. Thanks Eddie |
Someone asked the exact same question. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...ead.php?636941 With no answer. When I search various BMW dealers it's not found. Normally it would say NLA. I do see that number listed on eBay. Is it possible that they are specific for different countries? |
A last digit change like that usualy means an upgrade from the other, or a minor difference. Do you need to fix yours or are looking to install? |

I'm looking to find one and install it onto my 95 ti. Realoem says that I need part no. 82 11 1 469 444 but cant find one (which also says on realoem.com that later models require the same part no.). But I could find part no. 82 11 1 496 445 a lot on ebay and such. I'm thinking maybe just like mtlblue is where it might be that the part supersedes to the part no. 82 11 1 496 445. Well I'm going to be purchasing one in about 4-5 days so I'll let you know if it works on my car. |

Older and Newer Factory E36 Alarms For those whom have ever wondered. Either alarm style will fit in any year e36 car, though not sure about 1992. I have installed an older three button system in a 1998 318ti, and it was plug and play, so we now know they are just different designs for the same car. |
