New to the 318ti Forum
 

Hi everyone,
I am a new member to the forum, not yet an owner of a 318ti but trying very hard to find one here in Vancouver Canada. I currently have a 2000 328ti with all the sport options and love the car. Looking forward to owning a 318ti and enjoying the forum!

The car you have now is it a ti with a 2.8l engine in it? Or is it a euro 328ti model? Why not just stick with what you got,it's faster and probally alot more fun to drive.

I always thought that BMW ceased production of ti model in 1999 when the E46 generation came into the market. There were only four years of ti production: 95,96,97,98. Is that true?

Yes true...
 

Cept for the car mentioned above. They made some TI's in the EURO market and I am guessing that since this car was proabably purchased in Canada It is a EURO version. So basicly I am saying that for the American Market TI's stopped in 99 on the 318 and I have'nt heard of too many TI's of other models in the USA so I hope that sums it up for you. :smile:

BMW never made a 328ti. They did make a 323ti

So may I ask why your screen name is "1996 328ti" when you said BMW never produced a 328ti.
So your car never existed!

Steve did a 2.8 engine swap>>Thus the 328ti name.
