Whistling noise So Im driving and I get a whisking noise somewhere in the back hatch area. Anyone know of problem areas? |
Sounds crazy...but, check the jack pads to ensure they are there. |
You talking about the Jack pads for lift points? It the pads that hold the Jack in place in the hatch |
The jack pads for the lift points. |
Has anyone determined if the missing jackpads contribute to headliner failure? I recall this was a suspect area for E39s. |
Is a back window partially open? |

I mention the jack pads possibly making the whistling noise do to seeing a few posts from Steven mentioning it. I usually have the radio up loud enough to void out any noises my car might make. lol |

At certain speeds I get a whistling noise from my passenger side mirror. I guess the air passes over a spot just right to annoy me. Still havent fond the exact location and its just the passenger side. |
Well my headliner needs to be fixed so this might be true. |
