Hey guys. This is a feeler to gage interest. As some of you know, I'm 17, and cars are my obsession and I am VERY picky about them. I keep my cars clean and this Ti is garage kept day and night, and doesn't get driven in the rain unless I get stuck in it. This car has a lot of sentimental value to me so I'm not letting it go for any less then I think it's worth, every one of my paychecks are put into this car. This was my very first car. I got it before I had my permit and it has been a long journey. I am the second owner, I bought it from a man in New Jersey, car was BONE STOCK. As soon as I got it, I did maintenance to the M44 and all the hood, hatch, shocks, ect. I drove it with the M44 for about a year or so and then decided to do what I wanted to do since I bought the car, drop the S52 in. Lucky for me. One of my buddies who has a 96 M3 was doing a turbo swap and fortunately he had a complete donor car to swap everything to his car. This means I got EVERYTHING out of his M3. I knew his motor was strong because I had driven in this car multiple times. We both cars were swapped at the same time, right next to each other so after the first day, the Ti had the S52 and trans sitting in it. After each day of work, the Ti had an put door car cover on it day and night. No corners were cut during the swap. Everything was switched over from the M3. Motor, ZF transmission, ECU, full M3 exhaust, Secondary Air pump, full harness, literally everything was switched over.
Chassis has about 190K, no rust, and motor and trans have about 188,xxx on it. The M3 cluster says 158,xxx on it. Car is not daily driven so it sits until there is a nice day out. Runs awesome, so ticks, real smooth and pulls like hell. Alright, story time is over.

I think you'll definitely regret selling this car, you've put a lot of work into it to get it where it is. if you do sell it I hope it goes to someone who can really appreciate what went into it

Boneyard 08-27-2012 03:40 AM

Looks like you've done nice work. Hope you decide to keep it.
