OBX turbo manifold questions.

I'm currently in he midst of planning out my M44 turbo Ti build; I've already found a turbo kit on eBay that has decent reviews for $1300
Comes with turbo, OBX manifold eBay BOV & wastegate intercooler & piping as well as some other accessories..

My first question is that they show the OBX manifold with the flange on the bottom making it a low mount turbo, but doing some research I've found I might have to do some frame modifications to make the turbo fit correctly.
Does anyone who has worked with one before know if you can just flip it the other way where the flange is on top to make it a top mount turbo therefore negating the possibility of any frame modification? If not I heard the only other option is either doing full on Fab. custom or a custom M50 turbo manifold..

My other question is for anyone who is familiar with the individual throttle body kit made by RHD. I was planning on running both of these set ups in conjunction with each other but I don't know if the carbon fiber plenum they offer will hold the boost the turbo will be pushing?

I only plan on running 7-9lbs of boost. This will be my daily so I'm not looking for crazy numbers just daily driving reliability with a little more pep as well as some better sounds haha!

Any and all input is welcome!!http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...033ca1de8c.pnghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...057caebd84.jpg

Just ordered one of those kits and you will be ordering lots of odds and ends. Good starting point though. I haven't fit it yet but i plan on dropping my test fit engine in my test bay this weekend and i can let you know about the frame.

Awesome let me know how it goes! I'm very interested in how the manifold performs.

Not yet, plan on getting the ITB's around December and the turbo kit completed around January-February.
Very interested in seeing if anyone has ran the RHD ITB's they are pretty pricy but they sound amazing!

Split the manifold flange between cylinder 2 and 3 so it can expand. This will stop it from cracking. ;)

Just dropped it in the test bay and other than figuring out where to run the boost pipe the turbo and maifold and downpipe fit. The waste gate on the other hand fits but cant fit the dump pipe no matter witch way i turn it. So going to have to cut off the flange and re weld it in a new position.

Hmm so the charge pipe? I believe is the name (sorry I'm still new to the turbo rhetoric) is what you're having issues with?

No the waste gate dump pipe. Witch is pictured in the kit but does not come with it. Its the small pipe with the 90 deg. bend in the kit picture. I'll post some pics of the issue
