1996 Ti Auto in San Diego Auction
 

Found this in a local auction website in San Diego. Auction is this Sat. Add says it runs and drives. Looks like cloth interior. No mileage stated. CA plates.

These auctions are kind of fun to go to. I saw a '78 635CSI (running, cloth seats) go for $1200 there. Just don't get caught up in the bidding.
You can inspect the car the day of the auction except under the hood. They are concerned that someone will disable the engine prior to sale to get it for a lower price. Once the car is started and waiting to go up for auction, the hood is up and you can listen to/inspect the motor prior to bidding.

Is this an Active, or a base with options added. Looks like all the Active adds except security/keyless entry, so I think this is a base with good options added. :cool:

Looks totally base to me... with some nice options, like the steering wheel...

not active though, no on-board computer, cruise control leather, alarm or heated seat, no Traction control

Although I'm not in the market for another one, I may go check it out and see what it sells for tomorrow.

Actually based on the VIN lookup, it does have the OBC and cruise control. I agree, good options on a base.

212,000 miles. Interior Looked good. Exterior had some door dings. But nothing too bad. Paint in good shape. Headliner sagging. Engine a bit dusty but no leaks.
Sold for $800.00 + $125.00 buyer's fee. So $925.00

While I was there, I didn't see any car sell for more than $3600.00
