Hey guys!

This is my first time here, so apologies in advance for anything arising from that

I am selling my 1998 318ti, since our mechanic has left the area and it failed inspection, I can't justify the work to get it road legal again, I'm hoping someone here is looking for a car to rebuild or a parts car and will get some extra use out of mine

I don't know what would be reasonable for it in its current state so let's say $1000 or best offer? It would have to be picked up from Newark Delaware (halfway between Philadelphia PA and Baltimore MD) as is, I have a temp tag to go with it

I'm going to take it for one last ride around and get some proper pictures, so if you're interested, please let me know and I'll get you those pictures

At the moment it sounds like a diesel truck, but it still has kick for days. Just swapped out all the indicator lights and the front pads + rotors only have a couple hundred miles

Was gloss black with grey faux leather interior, bare bones basic (has the sunroof) when we bought it and its still essentially stock (aftermarket BT and USB radio), comes with 2 keys

It is 'single owner', my mother bought it in 1999 and I have been driving it since 2016. It had 1 crash in I think 2004 with the bumper and corner panel replaced but no frame damage

I looked after this car as best as I could (always went in for maintenance and it was driven pretty delicately), but it's in need of some love for sure
- Engine codes (P0455 and P1174)
- Hood release broken (has release hidden in front bumper)
- Grill cover tabs broken (held in place with wire)
- Ambient temp sensor gone
- Paint is toast (most of the clear coat on the roof is gone)
- Interior carpet has been removed except driver foot well (water damage, wrapped all the wires in hard plastic before putting the covers back to keep them safe)
- Rust hole in floor panel (said water damage)
- Sun roof wired shut, all hardware and headliner removed (cause of water damage)
- Driver door panel removed (I have the panel, but the tabs are broken)
- No AC (compressor is shot)
- Dent in trunk (telephone pole, lock works fine)
- Shocks are almost dead
