i talked to the guys at the bmw parts counter when they ordered my crank sensor, after they handed me a cam sensor...... I told them it was the wrong part, and the guy said it happens all the time...

Yeah, I'm not usually keen on the lug covers either, but they remind me of BBS rims. They have NO curb rash at all, but the clear coat is a bit screwed up on all 4 rims.
