No problems at all! Bought some new clips from ebay & used the same holes for the clips that were used by the skinny ones.
I cant see what can go wrong really unless you end up with a rotten set... |

Seems to be a fairly common issue as the ECU isn't receiving a signal from the speed sensor which was on the donor cars diff so it goes into a limp mode, stopping the engine from revving past... |

Put a 328 into my Compact last weekend - donor car was a 328 Coupe, I dropped the whole front end of the Coupe and fitted it straight to the Compact - easiest conversion ever!
