I have the Thule 225 fit kit and towers (if needed) for sale. I sold my ti and got a 325 wagon, so no longer need the rack pieces. I am in Calgary Canada and can ship throughout North America.

Accent?

I hope that you make your "I don't speak a word of English" without a hint of an accent. Hopefully it leaves them baffled.

I think you should bring your own table and advocate something like...

Having a Choice

Pick the manual.... always! IMO automatics are boring to drive always react slower than a manual, you don't have to wait for a downshift. You will learn very quickly how to drive a manual. Enjoy

Unless I could get a e28 M5, very much my ideal BMW. For the daily car, I want the new 328xit wagon. The 5's are bigger than I want. Ideally it would be the 330d wagon. I am a big fan of the Euro...

X-Mas Day

About 3 years ago I was looking on Auto Trader Canada (I live in Calgary), just casually looking at cars and did a search for 318ti all across Canada. One came up in Winnipeg (about 800 mile from...

335

Since the 335 twin turbo already does sub 5 second 0 - 60, I would think with an extra 100hp the M3 would be well under 5 seconds. Car and Driver tested it at 4.8 or so. At that point what do you...

Vinyl?

I think the BMW marketing term for vinyl is Leatherette. It was and still is widely used in BMW 3 series cars. Chances are that if you think its leather it may be leatherette.

Why??

Just out of curiousity, why would you need park distance control? A ti is not a large car by any means. If you are remotely aware of the shape and size of your car pdc is just anoying and not needed...

I am just going by what the mechanic said. The kit was available from the dealer and was also noted as a common failure. From what research I did on BMW forums it is common on most E36. This is a...

I had the same problem. If the airbag light is on while driving, the airbags will not deploy. There was a service bulletin for the seatbelt pre-tensioner, the wiring fails. There is a service kit for...

I went through that last winter. I was getting a bunch of codes on the CEL. Had the cam position sensor replaced, and the secondary air pump. It was a little pricey, but the CEL has been off since. I...

I have had a few GTI's

I will reply back on this one, since I have had a few GTI's MK 1, Mk2 & MK3. The MK1 & MK2 were built the best. But I did not have any issues with my MK3 (4cyl 115hp). But had friends with similar...

I had mudflaps

I didn't think you could still buy leaded fuel anymore. I thought it was banned. Don't do it, really really bad for the environment.

120d

I am told that we will get the 120 in Canada possible for 2007, but definately for 2008 including the diesel. I will happily order a 120d. Although the 130i looks like it would be a blast to drive.
