Same problem.. Its the "C" shaped catch located in the hatch. There's a little spring that apparently breaks and the "C" doesn't turn face open-down anymore,...

I popped it out and took a look at the housing......

I popped it out and took a look at the housing... The screw seal on the back looked pretty good and secure actually. and close inspection didn't show any cracks.

What did look suspect on these...
