Ok, the mighty lift is threaded and the strong arm is hard but you can rotate the end.

I tried rotating the shaft on the stabilus and it wasn't moving... I'm going to try stopping at AutoZone to check out the mighty lift

I went by pep boys and checked out the stabilus...

I went by pep boys and checked out the stabilus and noticed that the tips where the retainer balls go aren't exactly the same. The stock ones are completely opposite, and the blazer ones aren't....

Great thread guys, I had the same problem this afternoon: Damn fuse 46 keeps blowing. After hours of research I think I have the same problem. I know for a fact that my carpet piece isn't in between...
