HELP Driver's Seat has fallen and can't get up!!

The driver's seat in my 96 ti will not come up from a fully reclined position. The seat is mechanical. My son was driving it and said he heard a pop. Now the seat back is literally laying in the back...

Mine ended up being the sensor aroungd the key....

Mine ended up being the sensor aroungd the key. Looks like a trim ring. It fle out and I didn't notice in the dark. Put it back in place and stared on first try.
