so no issues to put the mirror in the windshield? there goes a steel round connector. i'm concern to get a mirror that doesn't match with my windshield. so now i'm sure that the e46's and e39's fits...

dude I'm planning buying a autodim mirror as yours... so I can see there is not problem with the mounting? most mirrors in ebay have similar connector to the windshield but i was not really sure...
